TENDER SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
• Regularly monitor and identify tenders from government e-procurement portals including (but not limited to) GeM, CPPP, State e-Tender portals, PSU websites, and departmental portals
• Shortlist tenders based on organizational eligibility, technical capability, and commercial viability
• Study tender documents (NIT, RFP, RFQ, BOQ, GCC, SCC) and prepare detailed tender summaries
• Track critical dates such as pre-bid meetings, bid submission deadlines, corrigenda, and clarifications
• Coordinate with internal teams for technical inputs, financial data, and compliance documentation
• Maintain a centralized database of live, submitted, awarded, and rejected tenders
• Keep updated with changes in government procurement rules, guidelines, and portal updates
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling tender-related information

Requirements and Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes and tendering systems
• Strong ability to search, filter, and analyze tenders across multiple portals
• Excellent understanding of eligibility conditions, technical qualifications, and commercial terms and legal compliances
• Law background will be beneficial
• High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PDF tools, and online procurement platforms
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Language Preference: English, Hindi
Experience & Qualifications
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in tender searching, bidding support, or government procurement
• Prior experience working with government departments, PSUs, or tender consulting firms gets a advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Management / Engineering / Commerce/ LAW) preferred.
