Job Summary
The Sales Manager – Solar Module & Solar Project Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth through sales of solar PV modules and turnkey solar projects (rooftop, ground-mounted, and utility-scale). The role involves business development, key account management, channel partner development, and coordination with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Solar Module Sales
• Develop and execute sales strategies for solar PV modules in domestic and/or international markets.
• Identify and onboard distributors, dealers, EPC partners, and institutional customers.
• Manage key accounts and maintain long-term relationships with EPCs, developers, and OEMs.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, pricing, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics.
Solar Project Sales (Rooftop & Utility Scale)
• Generate leads and close solar EPC projects (commercial, industrial, residential, and utility-scale).
• Conduct site feasibility discussions in coordination with engineering and project teams.
• Prepare project proposals, BOQs, and ROI-based presentations for clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams for design, execution, and commissioning to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Liaise with government agencies, DISCOMs, and consultants where required.
Business Development & Strategy
• Identify new market opportunities, tenders, and RFPs in the solar sector.
• Participate in tenders, bidding processes, and pre-bid meetings.
• Achieve assigned sales targets for modules and projects on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Develop channel sales strategies and expand geographic presence.
Reporting & Coordination
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM data, and MIS reports.
• Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and operations for order fulfillment and collections.
• Ensure timely payment collections and adherence to credit policies.

• Strong knowledge of solar PV modules, EPC projects, and solar industry standards.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to understand technical drawings, BOQs, and project costing.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Result-oriented with a strong commercial mindset.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Marketing (MBA preferred).
• 5–10 years of experience in solar module sales and/or solar project sales.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the renewable energy sector.

Preferred Experience
• Experience working with EPC companies, module manufacturers, or solar developers.
• Exposure to government tenders, DISCOM projects, and large C&I customers.
• Familiarity with MNRE policies and solar regulations is an advantage.
