Job Summary:
We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in civil construction projects to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, material sourcing, and purchase planning. The candidate should have a good understanding of construction materials, vendor management, and project procurement requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Procurement of civil construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Floating enquiries, obtaining quotations, and comparative analysis of vendors.
• Negotiating prices, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Preparing and issuing Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinating with project teams for material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Identifying and developing new vendors for cost-effective procurement.
• Monitoring material availability and ensuring timely supply to project sites.
• Maintaining procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
• Tracking market prices and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and project requirements.
Required Skills:
• Knowledge of civil construction materials and procurement processes.
• Vendor development and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of BOQ, project procurement, and material planning.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP systems.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
